Bleh Thursday Afternoon

I made my monthly visit to Austin strip clubs yesterday. As usual, my entry fee was waived since I am retired military. I believe it was $5 otherwise until later in the evening. I only stayed long enough to order on Red Bull at $5, tipped a dollar and also tipped at the front door. Total spent this visit was $7.

Okay, I used to have a really good time at Palazio, but my last couple of visits have been bleh. First of all, the quality of the afternoon shift has declined significantly. Most important, all of them push hard for the cabana experience. Not sure of the exact cost, but I think the afternoon rate is around $100 for 30 minutes and $150 for an hour. I've had girls suggest their cost would range from $300-$500. Just not into that unless I know it's a sure thing, if you know what I mean. So, to really push the cabanas, they almost all are asking for $25 - $40 for a dance on the couches in the corner. Used to be $20. The one good thing is that most all of them can at least carry on a conversation in English.

I will go back, but looks like I will claim my perch at the bar and wish for the good old times.
