Boring

I was in the fort visiting friends and one wanted to go out to hit a club. We were staying downtown and I've never been to Shangra La, so figured why not give it a try. The place is a red building on the west side of town. Kind of looks like maybe it was a barn a long time ago. The parking lot is big and was full, which wad a good sign for as late as it was.

Upon entering, we were greeted by the host, $5 to get in as I remember. The place inside was from the 80s strip club scene. Dingy dark carpets, one main stage in the center, lots of old time decorations. Girls get on stage for a3 song set and the first thing I noticed was either they were staying clothed or they had pasties. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I got a beer, $5 again as I remember and wee watched the show for a bit. Soon, a dancer came by which we chatted up. I asked about the pasties and she told me it was fort Wayne rules. I've been to a few clubs around town and I've never heard that.

We both nursed or drinks for a while and then decided it wad time to go. Overall, not impressed. The place was ok, girls were ok, rules made the place boring. I likely won't be going back, but maybe I'll give it one more shot in the future.
