Saturday Night

I made a rare stop into The Candy Store on a recent Saturday night. I arrived around 10:00pm. No problem parking, they've got a decent sized parking lot and are on a well lit, heavily travelled intersection in north Phoenix. Cover charge was $10.

As you walk in the club, the bar and a small stage are to the right and the main stage and dances are to the left. It wasn't too busy at that point, there was plenty of seating available around the bar and around the main stage area. It felt like a mostly neighborhood type crowd and it seemed like a lot of people knew each other. I headed to the bar start my night and paid $5.50 for a Bud Light. I chatted up a few of the girls at the bar before heading over to the main room.

There were probably 15-20 girls working, mostly white girls, but a few black girls, a few latinas and an Asian girl were also in the house. I'd rate the girls in the 6-8 range, with most sitting around the 7 range. There were lots of tats and piercings. I would guess most of the ladies were in the 25-35 age range. Nobody looked out of place, nobody knocked my socks off either though. Oddly enough, I knew a couple of girls from other clubs.
