Slow late afternoon

Stopped at Heartbreakers when driving through Milwaukee for a break shortly after they opened at 3 on a Saturday. Got stopped by the bouncer who asked for a 10 Buck cover and scanned my ID, which I wasn’t too thrilled about. Grabbed a mid priced beer at the bar and waited for some entertainment. The club is nice with a bar along one side and a small stage in the first room, and then a larger bar and bigger stage in a back room that wasn’t being used. Actually the front room wasn’t being used either. Despite their being me and two other guys at the bar, no girls danced on stage during the hour I was there. There were four dancers on all sitting together at the other end of the bar laughing and joking with the bartender. I watched a bit of the Brewers game getting frustrated on the TV before a dancer finally made her way over. She was a cute blonde who asked if I’d been there before. I told her it had been a long while. She told me dances were on “special” 2 for 40 or 50 before a certain time and a 15 minute room was $115 before that same time - maybe 7? Since I didn’t want to leave completely unentertained, I asked her for the 2 for special. The good was the songs were full uncut songs. The bad was that the dance was really uninspired. Very little contact in any direction. The other girls weee good looking - 2 white girls and a Latina. But after a set of two mediocre dances I was ready to cut bait and headed out.
