Two visits to 4Play and Valley...

Two visits to 4Play and Valley Ball on weekend nights resulted in vastly different impressions (see the Valley Ball section for the other review). I went to 4Play after boycotting it for several months. I am happy to report that the problems I and others had complained about have been corrected.

All the dancers got completely nude on stage without exception. The songs are back to 3:30 minutes which is the longest I know of in Southern California. The stage lighting was good, not great but good.

The downstairs laps are competitively priced, and they have real 2-for-1 specials every now and then. The mileage was about the same as before. The upstairs mandatory 5-songs are still going on (with the specials being 6-for-5), but I just don't do these as I find mandatory multiple songs a disincentive for performance.
