Meh... didn't spend much, didn't get much

Maybe I’m spoiled. I live near a couple clubs that I rather enjoy - clubs where the dancers are playful, drinks can be had, and not everybody is walking around with their hand out. So maybe my perspective is skewed to the point where I can’t enjoy some clubs anymore.

Or maybe DejaVu – Lansing is just a bit of a rip-off..

Was in town on a Friday night for a car show, and stopped in around 9:30 to see what’s what. I hadn’t been to a DejaVu location in over a decade, so I forgot what to expect. $25 cover was charged at the bar, and I got a gingerale since no alcohol in Lansing for full nude apparently. I put a ten down on the bar and the bartender asked “is this for me?” - didn’t realize some bevs were comped. I said, “sure” and went to sit down. So, I’m down 35 bucks already to just get a chair. I suppose I could have asked for change, but whatever.
