Does anyone living locally know whether the Axe has closed down? I was there a couple of weeks ago and one of the girls mentioned their licence being up for review shortly. I went again on Wednesday 15/6/22 and the place was shut. I'll miss it if it's gone. Browns down the road may look fancier, but it hasn't got the same... errr... atmosphere.
