Treasures is Finally Back
Treasures is finally back. I slammed the club after my last two post-Covid trips as it was totally dead and depressing. Other clubs had come back, but I thought Treasures might be done. So I had low expectations on this trip. In fact, I didn't even include Treasures on my initial list of clubs to hit up while in Vegas. I have never eaten at their steakhouse because it doesn't open until 8pm and I don't like eating that late. But I had a 2 o-clock lunch and thought what the hell, I'll give it a try and then head over to Rhino or Sapphire.
I called and they picked my up in their party van. When the driver went to text me that he was five minutes out, he was using the voice to text app and some guy cut him off. He cursed at the driver of the other car, not realizing the voice to text was still on. So I got a text that said, "I'm 5 minutes out motherfucker." He called immediately to explain and apologize, but I was laughing, not mad.
Since I took their limo service and was having dinner, there was no cover. Dinner is in a very nice room directly across from the cashier. I was skeptical about eating in a club, but I had actually read good things. I had a 24oz bone in ribeye that rivaled some of the best steaks I've had in Chicago and New York. Expensive, but good. A couple of the dancers stopped in to see if I wanted company, but I politely declined. It would be odd eating with someone trying to talk to you. I told them I would come see them when I finished dinner. The good news is that both were solid 8s. On my last visit to Treasures I was lucky to see a 6.
