Hot Friday in the Burque

I stopped at TD's on a hot Friday afternoon. Too hot in Albuquerque to do anything outside. No cover charge. Doorman checks ID and wands you. Beer was $7/bottle, nothing on tap. Probably 30-40 customers, 20 dancers. Only one stage being used, and each dancer did two songs. I didn't see much tipping at the stage, so I got a lot of attention when I did so.

Floor dances are said to be $10, but I hardly saw any of these. The VIP dances are $25 and are totally worth it. The dancers are a nice mix of ethnicity, age, and natural vs. augmented. I tend to prefer natural and mature, and I had plenty to choose from. Diane, a naturally busty blonde entertained me for a couple dances as did Julia, a Hispanic brunette. Then I spent a good long time with Gwendolyn and with Rose (not at the same time). They offered a trip to the champagne room for $275 for a half hour, but I was perfectly content with the VIP. Left happy!

Compared to the pre-pandemic days, it seems that the contact is much hotter overall, although I'm sure there are exceptions.
