Good Bar Food

I don't get in here often because it is not open during the day and I don't have many excuses to get out at night, but today I was able to slip in around 5:30, opening time to check it out.

It's near a major intersection of I76 and I80 and a truck stop/ service area is close enough to walk. The parking is in good shape and is shared by an adult book store and an Italian American club. Other spots in the plaza turn over regularly.

There is no cover before 8PM. There is one bouncer visible near the bar most of the time. The bar is large and the whole place is clean and well cared for, including the restrooms. (at least I guess the ladies' is clean) There is a large horseshoe bar in the center of the room and high tables and chairs line the walls. I think beer was $3-4 and altogether my dinner was $25.50.

I have seen some good looking food come from the kitchen and never tried it until tonight. I had the pretzel bites and a burger they call the Rebel Burger. The place used to be called the Rebel Lounge. Everything was as good as I imagined and there were too many pretzel bites to finish after the burger and Cole Slaw. I know about as many people read these reviews to find out about the food as read Playboy for the articles, so enough of that.

There were 3 girls working. One was a 20-something pawg, but cute face. Another was a sophisticated looking blonde in a hot costume cut out in all the right places with a cool look. The one who sat next to me and talked to me through my burger was 35-45 , tan, nice looking blonde with most of her teeth that were beautifully whitened. She was in a black bra top and daisy dukes with a red handkerchief hanging from one pocket.
