Reasonable Bounce Back for the Rail in 2022
Brass Rail hasn't had a review so far in 2022 so here's an update for those interested.
I would say that the club has bounced back to a level that I will admit I didn't anticipate would happen this quickly in Toronto, given the government's (all levels) rather draconian Covid response in these parts. But since the most recent re-opening, it seems to be about 90% of the way back in terms of functionality - even if the dancer roster seems not necessarily all the way back talent-wise.
Speaking of that, I'd say there were about 20-25 girls here last Saturday night at any given time. It still feels to me that this club trends a bit older with its dancers, but I suppose that will be a judgment call. Some will consider a girl who's 33 to be young, whereas I'd consider that on the older side (for a dancer, at least). For clarity, I would say I saw a handful of under-30s (none who looked under 24 though), about 15-20 girls in their 30s, and a few who looked perhaps a bit over 40. Again, as someone who used to visit Mons Venus in Tampa back in the day (before it started to suck) perhaps I was spoiled by the bevy of early 20-somethings that club used to regularly offer. The girls here mostly wore a bra-and-panties combo or some kind of lingerie. I'd say it was equally balanced in terms of blondes and brunettes, and also in terms of ethnic diversity. If one is looking for variety in these respects, they will be pleased on those fronts. I'll add there are a couple of quite tall Asian ladies should that pique interest for some. I also noticed a very tall Persian-looking brunette with a great body, but her vibe seemed airdancey to me and I did indeed see her go to the VIP with a guy at one point in the night only to return a mere 1-2 songs later.
