I don't know if this was just an off night, but everything about this place gave me a bad impression.
The place was fairly empty and the layout was a little strange. The club is basically a small, empty room with only one pole in the corner across from the bar, and limited seating away from the rack. There were a lot of mirrors to create the illusion of space. It reminded me of trying to turn a school gym into a dance floor.
While I was there, maybe four customers sat at the bar, and five dancers were sitting against the wall, waiting for their turn to go on stage. It didn't look like anyone was really enjoying their time there. I rarely saw anyone sit at the rack. The DJ kept trying to guilt people sitting at the bar into tipping the dancers, which I haven't heard much at other clubs.
The drinks were overpriced and not very strong. I spent $20 on drinks that were mostly ice without feeling like I had drunk anything.
The dancers were not particularly inspiring. They were alright, but basically looked like they could have been any girl walking down the street. All of them were white, which was a little surprising. Every other club I've visited in Portland has been more diverse.
Some of the dancer seemed to have a bad or entitled attitude. One older dancer asked for a tip for sitting down for 5 seconds before being called to the stage. Another younger dancer gave a weird, mean laugh while picking up a tip at the stage, which seemed like a shitty thing to do.
I was offered a few private dances, but I declined as politely as I could, so I don't know what that area is like. There were several large signs saying that no touching was allowed.
I don't plan to visit this place again, since literally no part of it appealed to me in any way.
