Worth the ride to Barrie, eh!
Once everyone bailed after a round of golf I said "fuck it" and headed up to Barrie to check out Crossover's again. I had gone a couple of years ago with a buddy and had a good time, so I figured it would be worth the trip, and I was right. This is an average looking place, not new, not modern or super clean, but it is in no way dirty or poorly kept - it's just fine all around, nothing fancy, and that works for me. The stage is well placed and has two levels so everyone can see. The dancers are nude or at least the G-strings are off for their third dance, and they definitely appreciate it when you get up on stage to show your approval. The pool tables are good, and there are plenty of TV's with sports, UFC, and the like.
I got there just after 8 PM and stayed until close, which is about 1:45 AM. I played pool, enjoyed the scenery, and got lots of mileage on stage for 5 bucks a pop. There were several dancers there, and it got busier as the night went on. There were about 9 dancers when I arrived, and about 15 at the peak. Variety was good, and most dancers were 6's, 7's, or 8's, but a few were 3-4 and I don't know who would want anything to do with them, but to each his own and a girl's gotta make a living somehow.
Cayla, a beautiful, attractive and flirty black girl came over while I was playing pool to chat. There are red chairs and stools, and I figure you could get about 10-12 girls doing their thing in there at once. It is not private and you can see the people next to you, but it is not too close of quarters and I found it decent enough. It is not totally open, so there are a few corners and other walls within the semi-private dancing area.
Brooke has one of the best stage shows I have seen. She was fun, entertaining, and had great personality. She seems to be an older, late 30's French Canadian veteran of the circuit, and she knows her way around. She absolutely fucking ROCKED up there, and she came out wearing a construction hat and boots, sexy little denim overalls, and a white bra. However, most gave effort, had style, and exuded some sensuality on stage. Sabrina was one of the posers. She was a solid 8, but she is a princess and it was all about her and you could tell. Katie was a cutie and was there two years ago when I went. I recall her being friendly and sweet and she gave good dances. Crossover's is a good time and is worth the drive to Barrie. I'm glad I chose to come here this night as the reviews of Whiskey's are not consistently good (and are often poor), and I've wasted time there before. There was no time wasted at Crossover's, and I'll be back next summer. It's not fancy, but it's a great environment, and the dancers treat you well and there was variety, effort, and sensuality.
