1-hour stop at Vivid
I found myself in Manhattan for 1 night on a quick work trip. By the time I was free from my colleagues, it was after 10pm and I'd been awake since before 4am that Thursday (6am flight to NYC). Despite being exhausted, I knew I had to hit at least 1 club. Vivid was nearest to my hotel near Grand Central.
I paid a $20 cover at the door and was greeted by a man who took me to a seat at a small table on the ground floor. There was a long bar further back, a stage just about 10 feet in front of me, other small tables and a few leather booths for lap dances out in the open. There was also a spiral staircase up to a 2nd floor, but I didn't go exploring.
The gentleman who seated me brought over a girl to meet me within 2 minutes of being seated. I can't recall her name, but she appeared just as the server was taking my drink order. A beer for me and a water for her (her choice). This dancer was actually great in conversation but just didn't do it for me physically. She claimed to be an athletic trainer, was rather tall, but not all that fit. I enjoyed getting to know her but needed to find a way to move on to other options. When she said she needed to make a quick stop back in the changing area, I made my break and let her know maybe we'd catch up later.
