A Shadow of Follies Dayshift
Back in Atlanta for the first time since probably 2018 and had to see the rebranded Follies Dayshiftfor myself. VividE is right off of a busy street with plenty of parking and a lot that is graded down two levels. Parked the rental car and noticed a bullet casing (interesting find) and walked to the front entrance. Paid the entrance fee $10 and was instructed on how to get to the club floor down a long staircase. The club has multiple floors, but I was explained that during the day they only use the lower (main) floor.
Once you walk down the staircase, you are immediately welcomed with seating areas/couches and to the right is the bar. Nowhere did I see anything that resembles a stage, however, there were two poles on a small platform that were unoccupied my entire visit. Was meeting a fellow TUSCLer here who had a spot at the end of the bar. He gave me the rundown and introduced me to a few ladies. One of them (Brittney) was a thick white dancer who used to be a Follies dayshifter.
We caught up and chatted about the club and his birthday shenanigans as well as some of the dancers. When you're around royalty like this club goer, you learn to take hints and go with recommendations whenever offered. I enjoyed my usual Jack and Coke which I believe was around $8 each. All change was given in single dollar bills.
