What a crappy place

Damn this place has been run to shit by Eddie the owner. As far as the decor, this is still the nicest club on the Berry Blvd/7th Street strip (Yeah, yeah I know, not saying much) but in terms of how it is run, well.........it just sucks.

Just a run down of the interior. The building is narrow, but long. As soon as you walk in, the restrooms are to your left. So if the restrooms to your left are say 9:00 if you imagine standing in the middle of a clock with midnight being Straight ahead from the entrance, the door to o the dressing room is 10:00, the bar is 11:00, the door to the outdoor smoking area is 11:30, Straight ahead to the far end is the rarely used stage at midnight. Behind the stage is the VIP rooms. The entire right half of the building 1:00 to 6:00 is the seating area. The furniture is only a few years old and still in decent condition. And the place was remodeled not too many years ago unlike most of the bars at 7th/Berry which look like nothing has been spent on since the 70's.

Walking in, I was the the only customer, on DERBY NIGHT, what the hell??? There were two dancers on the floor, what the hell? I was approached by a respectable looking brunette. She asked if I would like to buy her a drink. I asked what is the price? She replied that drinks start at $60. I laughed and said no way she then countered quickly saying they also have a $46 drink. That sounded like a shady ass tactic so I said no way again. The bar tender/manager realized I wasn't a schmuck who was going to pay such stupid prices so she left behind the bar, seat in one of the chairs in the seating area and just read on her phone. I took this to mean she didn't expect any customers any time soon. I walked out the door shaking my head.
