Cool place on a hot afternoon.

Was in the area and decided to sample the Washington Park scene. I started with Miss Kitty’s because I knew one of the dancers working there from the past. Arrived about 1 the afternoon. $10 cover charge. The bar is to the right as you come in. Across from the bar is a stage, though it wasn’t used while I was there. Beers were $5 and a bottle of water was $4. Mixed drinks were available. It was an unusually hot day for St. Louis at this time of the year, and I thought that was why the club seemed warm, but one of the dancers said they had been having trouble with the AC. Fortunately, they had called a repairman and it came on about halfway through my visit.

There is a DJ booth directly across from the entrance and they must have been trying out some new system, because the bass was really pounding, enough to rattle the glasses. It, too, got resolved before any permanent damage was done.

There were four dancers working, two white, and two AA, with a variety of body types. There is a lap dance room at the end of the bar. It’s $20 for a wrist band for access. The room has a series of little tables and some straight back chairs. There aren’t any real dividers, so it there is more than one couple, you won’t have a lot of privacy. Dances are $40 for one, 70 for two or 100 for three. Over the years and visits, I have established a friendly relationship with one of the dancers and she usually allows me 4 for 100. Dances are topless, and the groping is up to the dancer. While mine has gradually gotten more intense, your MMV., depending on the dancer.

There is a private VIP area and one of the dancers said it was 300 but she was purposefully vague about what was on the menu.

This afternoon was pretty slow, with only two other patrons during th time I was there.
