Still Not Sensational
I visited Sensations once B.C. (before Covid) and saw it has not been reviewed on this site in two years, so took a little drive to see what might have changed. Their website was changed to say they would be "opening soon", implying a reopening after a Covid shutdown. They are reopened. Even though their website is not updated, their Facebook page is current and reliable. They are open Thurs-Fri-Sat from 7PM-2AM.
A $5 cover got my hand stamped with that ink that glows under blue light. The physical setup is the same- a way too large parking lot, the building is basically two halves- right side for bar, pool table, arcade games, and cell phone use, left side for stage and dances and no cell phone use. I took out my phone to check the time and security was all over me. The bar side is well lit but the dance side is not well lit at all- dark wall paneling, and the decor is hunting themed with pinpoint ceiling lights that are supposed to resemble twinkling stars. One or the other is out of place.
The thing that is annoying about Sensations is that lap dances ($30 each or 2/$40 if they are running a promotion) and "champagne rooms" (some number of minutes and didn't catch the price) are essentially the same. Lap dances are on small couches like open cubicles. Champagne rooms are the same small couches with a waist-high door enclosing the cubicle. You may pay more, but you're not really getting any extra privacy. Furthermore, while sitting at the stage I could plainly look into the dance area and see bare breasts. There is apparently also one full nude room behind a curtain (finally, some privacy) at $180/20 minutes. If someone is in there you will have to wait your turn. I was told that for full nudity the dancer must be on a table in the room and you must be seated on the couch.
