Kennedy was a pleasant surprised.
I won’t describe the place in detail as I’ve done it multiple times but I’ll give basics to please the critics:
It’s just off the road with the parking lot to the left of the building. Some spaces near the back can provide some cover but otherwise the lot is exposed to the street. Walk in the door and it gets very dark, so your eyes need to adjust. Walk in the next door and the DJ booth is immediately to your right, and the long rectangle that makes the bar with the stage in the middle is right in front of you. Walk to your right to sit along the bar that runs along the wall, sit right in front of you want your back to the door and be able to see the ladies coming at you, or sit to the left alongside the wall where the restrooms and dressing room are. All good spots. If you sit to the left you’ll also be near where the ladies come off stage and start working the bar.
Now to the visit. I dropped in on a Monday. The bar was not crowded but not empty. I forget how many patrons exactly but I walked to the left, walked all the way to the back of the bar, and sat down on the back side of the bar. I’ve never sat here before but I wanted to be near the dressing room but not right where the ladies come off stage. Gives me a view of who’s making rounds.
