I went to the Mouse’s Ear on a Thursday night at about 19:00. There was a $21 cover charge. The strip club cannot sell alcohol, but it is BYOB. You can bring in beer or hard alcohol, but they tax you $1.25 for every beer and $7 to $9 for every bottle of alcohol that you bring in. You would think the high $21 cover charge would negate a need for taxing you to drink your own booze! The club tries to blame the nickel and dime scheme on the county. I refused to pay for the right to drink my own beer and alcohol, so I just pretended to go outside to smoke ever so often and then slam Sincweisers from the Igloo cooler in my truck. I hid some miniature bottles of liquor in my pockets and drank those in the washroom, which is the only place inside the Mouse’s Ear not on camera.

The main stage is in the middle of the room with four poles. There is a small circular island stage near the door. There is also a small island stage in the elevated VIP section in the back of the room. There is a bar serving non alcoholic drinks and snacks on the left side as you enter. A small paper cup of Coca-Cola with ice was $3. A Red Bull was $5. A bottle of water was $4. They also sold some kind of drink called Sex with a Showgirl for $12. Popcorn was $2 for a small bag and $5 for a large bag. Small bags of chips and trail mix were $2.

Dancers were rough at the Mouse’s Ear. I did not see a single dancer that I would rate over a 6. It seemed to be a requirement of employment that you had to vape and have a body messed up from parturition. Every time I looked around, dancers were sucking on their vaporizers. Most dancers were overweight or showed stretch marks, which is not my cup of tea. Most, but not all, dancers stripped down to topless on stage. There was absolutely no contact at the tip rail.
