Hits and misses in the daytime. (YMMV. A LOT)

This review covers a few recent visits, all in the first half of the afternoon. I cannot speak for other times of the day.

I'm sure the layout has been adequately covered in other reviews, but you enter on the Clairemont Mesa Bl side of the building and immediately confronted by the guy collecting the cover charge. It's been $10 recently. It used to be $20 for a year's admission card with subsequent visits during the year at $10, but I haven't been asked to present a card or buy a new one since the COVID shutdown passed. (Maybe the guy recognizes me but I doubt it.)

A large stage in the front third of the building with seating close-ish all around it (which doesn't get used much in the afternoon) and cushier seating further away all around the area. Dancers perform two song sets and make their way around the room after their set soliciting a buck or two with no real pressure. Dancers not dancing also approach customers from time to time to solicit private dances in the VIP area, again with usually little pressure. The visits can range from a 'drive-by' "Wanna dance?" to sitting down with the customer for a while and chatting. Most solicitations are somewhere in the middle of these extremes. The number of dancers seems to increase from a few at noon to a dozen or more after 2pm or so. Dancer appearance quality is usually quite good with the emphasis on white and Latina.
