Language VS. Confidence Levels

Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club
Calle Coahuila 2009 Zona Nte., Tijuana, B.C. Mexico
Best thing I ever did during the pandemic was learn Spanish. It helped me so much here...but not in the way you might think it would. Why? Let me tell 'ya, youngins: Prepandemic, before knowing any Spanish past Spanish 2 in High School...I arrived in TJ like a lost bat. Arrived at HK and tried to make talk with the girls...I treated this place like a strip club in the USA. Where you talk to women before asking for a dance. Of course in HK, it's more than a dance, and I didn't Speak Spanish. Google translate is too slow, the language barrier is awkward, and I didn't have that great of an experience outside of the experiences arriba. So you would think Spanish helps with that...and I am sure that it does if you want it to! But for me, I found that it has helped me up my confidence level the most. I walk in...walk about the club, find a woman I want and just ask "Quieres ir arriba conmigo?" ~do you want to go upstairs with me?~ 100% of the time, it's worked. That's all I've had to do. I've been back twice this year—I live in Washington state, so it's a bit far, otherwise I'd go every weekend! So how did learning Spanish help me? Mostly, it's just given me the confidence to ask women for that private time upstairs. So my advice for you if you don't Speak Spanish? My advice is don't speak it! You don't need to if you just want to come to TJ and have a fun time with bar girls. If you don't speak it, and you try, it'll just make it awkward for everyone, and waste you time while you could be adding to your body count! Does learning Spanish help? HELL YEA. Now I know TJ beyond just Zona Norte—I can go to more places in the city and keep improving Spanish. My Spanish is still SHIT...afterall, you can't REALLY learn that much in just the past 2 years of pandemic. BUT it's helped me be confident to know that if the lady does ask me any question, that at least I can talk to her to figure out what she's saying, whether than just not know. That's made all the difference in the world—confidence. If you care beyond the pussy, then learn the language. If you just want to go to TJ and bang some bar girls...honestly, stick to just "do you want to go upstairs?" since 90% of them know at least this phrase. Or learn "queires ir arriba conmigo," if you want to make sure you include the other 10%. Bottom line: act confident, and have fun—at HK, you're never going to be told "no," unless you're a straight up ass, way too drunk, or causing trouble. Bar girls usually quote $100. "Cien Dolares." I don't even negotiate anymore. In my experience, if you negotiate down to $80, she's gonna skimp on something: maybe she finishes you off faster, maybe no blowie, less moaning etc. Maybe it's all in my head. But for me, that extra $20 is worth calming those thoughts down that she's not doing XYZ beacuse I was a cheapass. If you haven't ever been to TJ...come. It's safe if you stay in Zona Norte. There's literally a thousand+ videos online detailing how to get here. And everything down to the price and money you need to bring to have a fun time. You only live once, brothers!
