Lack of dancers has hurt the Hop

I see it's been a couple of years and my last review of Hop Scotch remains the most recent, so I thought an update would be in order.

This club seems to struggle very hard to stay open and attract dancers. I visited on several occasions over the last few months, almost always on a Wednesday or Thursday night. The club is no longer open at all on Tuesdays because of lack of staff. They had been closed for most the fall of the 2021 entirely, and recently changed ownership I think.

The biggest issue is just the lack of actual dancers at the club. There is a local dancer (goes by Mia) who was a regular feature most the nights I stopped in, but often she would be the only dancer working at all, and she didn't really get up on stage, but tended to just sit with people and make small talk. She's a cute girl and I was always happy to see her but I'm not sure how a club survives when there is only one dancer or at most two.
