Dark and Dingy

Had to make an overnight trip from north Florida to SW Florida and back the next day. I’ve visited many of the clubs in Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater before, but never in Pasco County, so I made a few quick stops and will post brief reviews.

Some details to start: Visited Allure on a Friday afternoon from 1:15-2:15. Free parking in a paved lot; only a handful of spaces in the front, but many more on the left side of the building and in the back. No cover, security, ID check, or COVID protocols. Bottled water was $4.00 at the bar. Small club that looked dark and dingy. One stage with a pole (no one dancing at this early hour), tables and chairs around the room, and maybe 10 seats at the bar. Dance prices are posted on a wall near the bar; single songs are $30-$40 (topless/nude) or $85 for 15 minutes, $150 for 35* minutes (*see note below).

At this early hour, there were two customers, and four dancers – three white and one black – gathered at the bar. They were not super-beauties, as I expected from reading past reviews. I didn’t have enough time to wait to see who else might show up, so I chatted up the one I found most attractive who, in my estimation, was both tipsy and little crazy. After some friendly but rambling conversation, during which she bought herself a drink and offered to buy me one, we went back for 15 minutes of fun.
