Expose" exposed Thursday afternoon

I visited Expose’ on Thursday afternoon April 7, 2022 from about 4 to 5:30. The club is on Kearny Villa Rd which runs parallel to and just east of the 163 freeway. The club is between Clairemont Mesa Blvd and the 52 freeway. I was coming from the north and took the 52 east from the 805 and got off at Kearny Villa. There is also an exit from the northbound (only) 163 right next to the club. The club is within San Diego city limits although quite a ways from downtown. It is just south and east of the Marine Corps Air Station at Miramar and is in a mostly industrial area. There is generally adequate parking.

It’s a long narrow building with the entrance midway in one long side. I could hardly see the guy at the desk initially coming from bright sunshine into the dark. He said cover is $10 and there are 6 dancers. Paying with a $20 he counted out $10 in $1’s in change. No security stuff. No mask requirements. There was a leftover from COVID (I hope) one of those machines you stare into to take your temperature, not in use anymore.

Immediately opposite the entry are the restrooms, adequate is size but rather beat up but clean. Down the corridor on the right are smoking rooms for hookah and cigars, several displays of cigars for sale. There is no real bar in the sense of a place to sit or stand and drink, just a service bar to the left . I have no idea of the (soft) drink prices, a dancer I was sitting with asked me what I wanted to drink,, I said water and she went and got a glass of water and ice for no charge.
