Slow Afternoon

So arrived around 4 PM in the middle or March madness and Rodeo time and was surprised to see how slow things were.

Cover was $5 and had to walk in through a medal detector that I'm sure isnt on. Walked in and room is quite dark and no one was on stage. A couple of girls were with their normal clientele it seemed. The group of people I saw were the "rich white" older crowd. Sat down and no servers working as no one ever asked me for a drink and only one bartender working in the back. DJ was trying to get girls to get up on stage but ofc most were reluctant. After about 5 min a young black girl, medium height with B cups but think butt, came up and we started a conversation. She was a newer employee (worked here like 2 months) and she seemed friendly enough. You could tell she was looking to make some money and hadn't a "go to group" like some of the other girls who didn't give me the time of day. She went up on stage (Single stage in the center of the room with one pole) and danced for 3 songs and no one tipped her so I threw a few bills to show my support. When she came back to sit with me we decided to get some dances after some small talk. Got 2 dances with her but never once did she say what the price was or push me about other options. Gave her $60 but pretty sure it is just $20 a dance but wanted to help her out a bit since we had a decent talk.

After that I sat back down and saw a few more guys had stumbled in but were all standing and flirting with 2 girls at the bar. A Latino girl was up on stage dancing, very short like 5 ft 2 in with heels on and was petite all around, and I use dancing in the lightest sense of the word. She came over to me after her routine and told me she was Cuban and she didn't speak much english. Said she started a few weeks ago. Starting to see a pattern that only people who are hungry to work are those without the rich group crowd. Got 2 dances from her and they were ok. She did a bunch of grinding and tried to be peppy but once again a cost of dance was never discussed. Gave her $40 and called it a day.
