Much Ado Over Nothing Special…
This is a compilation review of two Saturday evening and one Sunday evening visit, all within the month of March (2022). We had set out to visit the DWNR, however it is still closed and instead Seductions is the only open club at this time. (For those of you who aren’t familiar, both clubs and a 24 hour massage shop all share the same property.)
When you first walk in, there is a bouncer who will ID you, search you, and check bags. You then walk through a metal detector and pay at the window manned by elderly people. (It just seemed odd…) The evening cover is $10. Drinks were average, I think bottled beer was $7 or $8 each. The restrooms are opposite area where you pay and are clean and well supplied and the club itself is overall pretty clean and modern. There is ample free parking and taxis oftentimes park outside which is handy because the cell service inside the club to order an Uber is splotchy at best.
The club is small and is a strange layout. It is long, with two smallish stages, each supplied with a pole and a mirrored wall behind each stage. The bar spans the opposite wall and it SUCKS. No draft beer, no Labbatts, and, instead of listing what they do have you have to ask “Do you have…?” Seriously? The cocktail waitresses and bartenders are clueless and not at all helpful, with attitudes almost as bad as the beer selection. Shot girls walk around with test tube shots, they’re actually tasty. The far end of the club has a pool table, and there are two VIP areas. The first is behind the stages and offers more private cubicles with curtains. The second is at the back of the club, it has the same cubicles but no privacy curtains. The rooms are small but well lit. Between the two stages is a hallway that leads to an outdoor smoking area.
