The Yellow Rose has always been one of the more popular Austin Tx gentlemen's clubs. 15+ years ago, I was a regular (live in) at Sugars, The Yellow (& Red) Rose, Perfect 10, Rick's etc.
Was in town ladt week to take care of some SXSW biz matters, decided to drop by one of my old stomping grounds @TheYellowRose.
Things have changed over the years- the place still looks the same, but overall atmosphere wasn't as energetic as I remembered. There were a lot of dancers working that night, but only 2 of the ladies really caught my eye...most were average youngsters. Definitely not the same as the old days..I remember the entire lineup of ladies being absolute knockouts and very pro dancers. Did not see any of the dancers actuallu WORK the pole...just a lot of prancing onstage.
Several dancers hit me up for table dances, but I stuck to the two top girls...stayed until @ 1230AM, had a great time - entire staff was friendly and professional. Drinks were great (mgr comped 3 rounds), good times, just not enough HOT dancers for me...
