A friendly interaction (1st DNG review in 7 months)

The club is right off Washington, near a highway underpass, with a parking lot in front, and valet parking (I had come on foot to the club). I visited from 10:00 pm to 12:20. Just outside the door I got a pat-down. The main room is spacious with a large central stage with 3 poles and many surrounding tables as well as long curved bar counters set back from the stage. Lighting was medium; music volume was loud (I put earplugs in when not talking to people). Some sort of fog generator was running, making the indoor air hazy, plus some customers were vaping. To the right of the entry is a separate adjoining bar room, also big, with a long well-stocked bar and plenty of additional tables and chairs, plus one much smaller stage with a pole. The rest room is fine but has a tip-seeking troll.

I saw up to 40 customers. 2 AA bouncers patrolled the goings-on. There were at least a dozen dancers present, mostly Hispanic, some whites and 1 AA. Half were slim and half were on the thicker side but not excessive. Customers included at least a half-dozen women, so the place seems couple-friendly. Dancers did a 2-song set; half of them took their tops off on stage and half left the tops on; bottoms were always in place. At the stage, dancers interacted more with the women customers than the men, sometimes getting partly off stage and almost lying on top of the women. Tipping was mostly by means of tossing wads of $1s onto the stage and surrounding floor, which created a strenuous cleanup task for dancers, using a bucket, assisted by a bouncer. There is no “tip walk.” Lots of other customers were tipping dancers to do air dances or minimal touching dances (with tops on) near their tables—what a waste: if I am paying, I want to be touched.

Right after paying my $20 entry fee, I was approached by Alice, who took my hand and whisked me off to a seat in the side room with the bar. She is blonde, slim, no tattoos, with obviously augmented chest. She had been dancing for 9 years; thus, she said, she is not obligated to rotate on the stage. She had a long, long conversation with me at the bar and was flirty, friendly, and cuddly. She asked questions about my profession, and told me all about herself.
