Disappointing Saturday Night

This was my first visit to this place this year. Pre-Covid, I would visit, on the average, once every 4-6 weeks. This particular visit was not a very good visit. I met a friend there on a Saturday night around 7pm. Cover was $10. Plenty of seats were available. At this time, only one stage was in use...and only 5-6 girls working. They were doing 2 song sets. Some dancers would get topless on the 2nd song, some would stay fully clothed. A couple dancers looked like they were having fun on stage...a few seemed like this is the LAST place they wanted to be. Their stage dance consisted of mainly walking in a circle around the pole.

Around 9pm or so, they opened a 2nd stage. I'd guess maybe 10-12 dancers were working at this time...but definitely not more than that. They were going through the rotation fairly quick. Around 10pm or so they opened the 3rd stage. By 10pm the place was pretty full of customers. Definitely more customers than dancers.

It seemed like the dancers were content to sit with their regulars. More times than not, they would both be texting away on their phones. Not talking. Not buying drinks. Not buying dances. I just don't get it. I even saw a couple different dancers, get up, make a very fast lap around the room (without stopping and talking to anyone) then go and sit back down and get back on their phone. To me, it appeared this might be a new rule...they have to walk the room every so often. But maybe not. I brought a little over $300 with me...intending to spend most of it. I spent just over $100...and that included cover, drinks, tips, and dances.

Dance prices are anywhere from $20 to $30 it seems like. I got a couple dances from Cookie. She's a great conversationalist with a very bubbly personality. Decent dances.

I also got a dance from Phoenix. Unfortunately, as soon as she started her dance, they announced she was on standby. So, it was 1 and done with her. Her dances were $20. Pretty good dance. Both Cookie and Phoenix allowed touching of the uncovered areas.
