Strip club without strippers

For starters, this place has a $12 cover charge. That's almost extortion for a Thursday night and it should have been my first hint that this was not going to be a good visit. I ordered a soda from the bar and it was reasonably priced so I expect that a beer would be also. And that's where anything reasonable began and ended.

I was there for an hour and never once did a dancer go on stage. The board had a half dozen names on it, but none of them seemed to be there. I don't know if the DJ couldn't see the stage or if he just didn't care, but he kept announcing their names as though they were dancing. "Let's give a big hand to Sunny as she finishes her set and next welcome Apri, she's sure to put a big smile on your face."

Except Sunny had never been on stage and April never showed up to replace her. Maybe the dancers were invisible, but that would seem to defeat the purpose of a strip club.
