Another fun TJ trip

I think this is my 14th trip to HK. I'm usually a Sunday-Wednesday visitor. This is the second time I was there on a Saturday night. Last time I went on a Saturday I told myself it's unlikely I'll go again on a weekend. It was a great time but I will definitely never go on a Friday or Saturday again. Around 11:30 pm it was not bad. I was surprised there was not more people there at 11:30. By 2:00 am it was insane. I went outside at 4:30 am and there was a line to get in and it was already insanely busy. I like the crowds but this was to many. Adelitas was busier than I've ever see it also. Chicago Club was also busy. Sunday night was busy but not overly crowded.

Crossing into Tijuana was same as usual. I took a buddy who's passport was expired. He took his US drivers license. I asked about coming back to the US without a passport in one of the forums and got several comments. Most of them said you can't come back to the US without a passport. So here is my buddies experience. Going into Tijuana he had no FMM or passport, showed his US drivers license and walked right through. No fee. No filling anything out. He walked through. I had my passport and a filled out FMM and they stopped me longer than my buddy to look at the FMM. Then waived me by. Coming back into the US Monday afternoon there was no line at all. My buddy showed his drivers license at US customs. They asked his name and date of birth and he walked right through. They didn't even ask him if he had a passport. They didn't stop him or question him any more than anyone with a passport. So there you go to all who had questioned it. It was no problem.

I also posted a question about checking into Cascadas without a reservation. I had reserved the room Saturday night. No reservation for Sunday night. I was told they would give me one free night on a previous visit. So when I checked in I told them I wanted the room both Saturday and Sunday. They made a call to the guy that said he'd give me a free room one night. They gave me the Master Suite both nights free.
