Friendly faces but no wow factor

Had an unexpected day off from work and decided to do some day clubbing downtown. Went to Downtown Cabaret first but there were only 2 girls working mid afternoon which surprised me. Day shift has been on the upswing there over the past 6 months.

Cut my loses there and figured why not check out Rick's a couple blocks away. Hadn't been there in a while and checking here I saw that my last review was 14 months ago. Not a lot has changed there except the dancers.

The manager was hovering at the door and I had to check my coat and show my ID (no scan though) with the hostess. Manager escorted me into the club and said I was welcome to sit anywhere. Huh, I could have handled that all on my own!
