Fun, but expensive as hell.

After a terrible stop at Emperor's (so bad I don't even want to write a review), me and my friends wandered down to Gold for a much better experience. First thing to know, this place is crazy expensive, $20 cover, $40 dances & $300 VIP. Beers were $5 or $6, mixed drinks were $11-$12.

Lots of girls, wasn't really counting, but seemed like 30+ working on a Saturday night. Mostly Cubans of varying complexions, but a few eastern Europeans & American white girls mixed in. Some real lookers in the bunch, 8 & 9s, I was impressed. Gold is a big place, large stage in the middle, several large bars areas around that, private dance & VIP area, & pool tables in the back. I had 3 dances with different girls & every last one was great, high mileage, and enthusiastic. My buddies reported the same with all of the various girls they got dances with. I didn't do a VIP ($300 is a little crazy), but it was definitely suggested by the various girls that extras were on the table, though none were overly pushy.

So if you're in Tampa and looking to spend a lot of money on a great time, I'd recommend the Gold Club.
