This place is truly a dive.

I am going to preface this by stating that I had no plan to work at this bar and it is by far the worst dive I've ever worked at (I had actually not worked at a "dive bar" before this so I was very out of place). I went to audition at a different bar which ended up being closed for renovations, so I googled the next closest bar and this popped up (I am from Michigan, not Ohio). I decided to give it a try and went in, got hired, decided to start the next day.

Got there at noon. The bartender, who is also a manager and generally more attractive than the other girls who work there, let me in. She told me where the "dressing room" was where I could go change. Huge red flag, the dressing room was the size of a walk-in closet and there were NO lockers at all! She informed me that I could put my dance bag by the stage and should carry any valuables with me while I work or put them in my car... luckily I had brought a padlock anyway, so I used it to lock my actual duffle bag up, but anyone could have walked out with it since there were no lockers and it was just sitting by the stage. I should've walked out and drove home then, but I decided to stay and see how things went and maybe make some money for a couple weeks until the club down the street opened back up. Big mistake.

Within a couple hours, there were about 15+ girls. Way too much for a day shift at this small of an establishment. At least a handful or so of the girls were dayshifters from the temporarily closed down club down the street. Besides me, they were the best looking girls at the bar, as the bar down the street clearly has higher hiring standards than this one.
