Where old strippers go to die
Someone once described this club as “where old strippers go to die.” They were being kind.
I was there on a recent Saturday afternoon. My first hint should have been the few cars in the large parking lot. At least that’s easy to get to and parking is easy. Frankly, even when I’ve driven past this place during prime time (Friday/Saturday nights) parking is easy because there are so few patrons.
Enter the place, and it’s obvious that the last time it was decorated was in the 1970’s, which is probably when some of the dancers started working there. Large, rectangular bar, stage in the middle sort of set up. Frankly, I’m surprised the floor isn’t worn out from the dancers constantly circling for tips. By the way, more than once they stayed completely dressed and just walked around the bar looking for money. The dollar parade was pretty bad. If there were five customers in the bar I would be surprised.
