Many possibilities but often transactional
This place looks fairly clean, but it's also dark, so it's hard to tell. The bathroom is dingy and sometimes without paper towels. They started scanning ID's at the door after the shooting incidents last year. The clientele is much tamer since the ID scanning practice was put in place. There is no DJ that I've ever seen but I always go in the early evenings. I haven't noticed a DJ booth. The music isn't too loud but the genres vary widely. Sometimes you'll have a terrible song come on for your private dance. There's a weird, narrow smoking stable that you access from the bar area that is outside, with overhead protection from the rain and a tall block wall that separates you from the parking lot.
I usually go at shift change which is 7pm. The girls are slow to come out and start their shift on time but the day shifters usually work the overlap. And by work, I mean sit at the bar and chat with the few customers that are there. There's usually at least a couple girls that are hot or great dancers/hustlers at any time. I usually see four girls at the bar talking to guys and a few are in back doing whatever before/after their shift. Seems like half the girls are black. The rest are white. I don't really see Asian or Latina girls there. Most girls are pretty bored, matter-of-fact when they give lap dances. They are usually cordial but even when they are drunk or high, they don't seem like they are having a good time. It's pretty transactional.
The cover charge is $7 after 7pm but it may be more on weekends. Lap dances are $20 but they always ask if you'd like another song. Here's where you can get swindled. Sometimes they'll ask you to hand over the $20 for the second song before they continue dancing. Then, if you're drunk or stupid, they'll say you didn't pay for the second song once it's over. I've been tricked this way before. The other trick is when they allow you to pay for additional songs/dances at the end, and they will say it was 3 additional songs instead of the truth which is two. Haha! They do hustle. I usually pay the booth man the initial $20 and hand the girl $20s for each additional song and a $5 or $10 tip and they usually seem happy with that.
