I went to Scuttlebutt Gentlemen’s Club at 20:00 on a Friday night. There was a $5 cover charge at the door. A Sincweiser was $6, and Jager Bombs were $12.50. There is no food served, but there is a vending machine with candy and chips in the vestibule. Here is Scuttlebutt’s layout in clockwise fashion, starting at six o’clock. Walking inside, there is a single pool table to the immediate left. A smaller bar is further down the left wall. The back left corner is where the washrooms and the dancers’ locker room is. The middle of the room has a large stage coming off the back wall. The back right corner is the DJ booth. Couch seating is along the right wall. Finally, at the five o’clock position are four private dance booths. Smoking is permitted inside, so if you are sensitive to secondhand smoke, this is not the place for you. The crowd was mostly younger people in their twenties and thirties.
There were nineteen dancers working on the primetime shift. About sixty percent of dancers were Caucasian and about forty percent of dancers were white. A token Asian was also in the line-up. Contact at the stage was not promoted, but I was able to grab entertainers’ thongs to slide in tips and smack some asses without being yelled at. Two dancers were not in the stage show queue. I guess dancers can opt out of their turn on stage and just work the room for private dances. Most of the line-up were passes for me, but there were five dancers I would have fucked, including two I would have handed over my entire wallet to. Dancers seemed to make more money during their stage shows over the course of the night than they did selling private dances. I think the younger crowd is more into stage tipping than buying lap dances.
