Lots of potential, worth a second trip

When I'm traveling I-40 in North Carolina, I try to stop at the Treasure Club in Asheville. I knew they had a location in Hickory, but I was never able to time my trips to stop there, until now.

As someone else mentioned, it looks like the building used to be a restaurant. Most of the parking is a big lot on the West side of the building, and the main entrance faces that side. There is s restaurant-like foyer with a door on either end, and then two door leading into the building proper. Nice folks at the front desk. When I mentioned I had been to Asheville, they said I got a "member discount" admission of $6. (Based on another recent review, I think the weekday cover may be $6 for everyone, but hey, they tried to make me feel like I was getting a deal.)

You can walk either way around the center room where the front desk is, but to the left is where the bar is, on the left. I had further to drive that evening, so I only had $3.50 Cokes, but I saw they had daily drink specials, and they were all similar to Thursdays: $6 shot of some kind, and $4 draft beer.
