Club Tumbleweeds

I've been to Silhouettes twice in the last few months. I'd heard rumor that it had gone high-end and was trying to be a Miami-style strip club (whatever that means) in Providence. This doesn't seem to be the case.

I'm not sure if its because of the long closure or COVID or what but each time I've gone I've been the only customer in the place. There are usually only one or two girls working, and they didn't really interact with me. The bartenders each time were cute and nice, so I'd get a few drinks and chat with them for a bit to see if things picked up. They never did. I'd tip out the girls on stage but it wasn't all that exciting.

To be fair, these were both weeknights, which tend to be slower in most clubs. Also they weren't charging a cover and the drinks were normal club prices (a little more than you'd pay at a bar, but not Fenway prices). So I don't think it was a *bad* experience per-se.
