Main Course
In evaluating DD you really need to evaluate it lined up next to Booby Trap which is right down the road. Where Booby Trap tries to be glitz and glam, DD does its thing as a bit understated and grungy from a décor and vibe standpoint. Both clubs are right near each other. Both clubs offer high mileage, though I would say it seemed like Diamond Dolls had it as more common. Both places were jam packed which makes me curious as to where Cheetahs and Gold Club stack up in this SC corridor.
Parking lot is pretty big but surprisingly filled. When you walk in you make a left turn and you see the somewhat narrow open room. It has a bar on the right, then further in the room there is a long narrow stage in the middle and another bigger bar on the right side in main room. There is a really tiny curtained bottle service type VIP to the left when you walk in but as mentioned before, this place isnt really about bottle service and making it rain types.
Its very dark inside but music isn't terribly loud. It feels very claustrophobic inside and while I could find a table/chair, I can see how this might be an issue some nights. Dances take place all the way on the other side of the main room from the entrance. There are two type of rooms which look identical from the outside. One set of rooms which are used for regular ol' 25 a song dances has 2 leather benches with a solid divider in it. The VIP style rooms are also curtained from the outside but has one bench in there so more private, but overall same size as the reg LD area.
