High-end party, smaller than most SCs, unique vibe
The name of the club speaks for itself. Alright, end of review.
Jokes aside, be prepared to spend a lot or, at the least, feel pressured to do so here. The best way I can describe this club is a small high-end party. This place is small (but then again, it's Hawaii), and the waiting area for the dancers & DJ booth are right in front of the main customer seating area. Essentially, all the dancers are looking at you, no more than 5 feet away from you, while you tip at the stage.
Came here on a Friday night, a little after midnight, walked over from Rock-Za next door. Ballarrinas is a little hard to find- it's in the corner next to the other SC, Rock-Za. I believe the cover charge was $13. The club itself is on the second floor, so you have to walk up a flight of neon stairs, which I thought was a nice touch. It's a very clean place, and the dark walls with pink & blue lights added to the comfort factor. To the left is the main stage with two poles and leather benches lined around it. There is another smaller stage separated by a wall. Music is contained very well- it was easy to hear and talk to the dancers. DJ was chill, played a lot of hip-hop which I liked. No bar but I believe it's byob before midnight.
