Relaxed atmosphere, not too busy, on a Saturday night
Alright, I know this place has loads of bad reviews on tuscl, google and yelp, especially after the pandemic, and I can understand why to a degree. I do have quite a few positive things to say about this place, however, and I'm certain at least a couple members will think this is a club or shill ad. Before you do, just hear me out.
Went in at 1 am on a Saturday, first time coming here. From the outside FN looks like your stereotypical SC off the side of the freeway. Walked to the back, where the main entrance is. Cover charge was $10 and included a free drink. Upon entering the bartender greeted me, very down to earth guy. This place has a very interesting aesthetic- the main floor is carpeted and pretty classy but the stages remind me of a disco club (i.e., light-up panel floor). Three rectangular stages surrounded by glass- almost cage like- one large stage in the middle and two smaller ones of to both sides of the bar. The inside of the club is fairly large relative to other SCs on the island, especially HBN and Ballarrinas. I'd say it compares to 939. Aesthetic wise, it's similar to RZ but just slightly more run down, although it's pretty easy to see why this place used to be the hot spot back in the day. Bathroom isn't the nicest, definitely smells and all the stalls (including the toilet) are open, but then again it's a SC bathroom and I went at 1 in the morning. Music level is better than most clubs- was able to easily have conversations with dancers without asking her to repeat what she said. There was no DJ there when I went. One big turn-off for me was that all the seats at the tip rails were the white plastic foldable chairs used for picnics, and some of them weren't even the same color or type. The bar seats are wobbly too. It's kind of bizarre imo given how nice the rest of the club is.
Ah, the dancers. Where do I start? As others have pointed out, age has caught up to many of the dancers. Out of the 8-10 dancers I saw, at least half of them were in their 40's (maybe a couple in early 50's?). They all had rocking bodies though. The dancers were not pushy at all, which can either be amazing or a deal-breaker depending on the type of customer you are. The person who was somewhat pushy was mama-san. Nice lady but definitely a no bs type of person. Mama-san came up to me and a dancer during a casual conversation. This dancer was not pushing for any PD's or drinks probably bc she has regulars (at least that's what she told me) but mama-san asked if I wanted to buy the dancer a drink. If I'm not mistaken, a drink for a dancer costs $40 like other places here. I said no thank you as it was my first time, and just tipped the dancer separately. Most of the dancers I saw were white, one AA, some Asian. Unlike in other SCs on the island, most of the dancers here were not available to talk, as they were chilling with customers in the booths, many of whom seemed like regulars. I say this bc most of the customers (excluding myself and a couple other guys) were in the 40-50 y/o range. One of the dancers even told me she has many weekly regulars. One dancer I recommend talking to and watching dance is Dessie.
