Very pleased

After a long hiatus from the club circuit for obvious reasons, and some not so obvious reasons, I got the urge to visit Fantasies to see what is new. The layout of the place I always expect to be the same, it is the talent that I am eager to see if it has changed.

First things first, the obvious reason I've stayed away is because of the pandemic. This is a tough, almost impossible, profession to be in a 100% safe environment. For it to succeed, it needs to be close contact. It's the nature of the business. So if you are going to go, you need to assume the risk. The bouncer does ask you upon entering if you have a mask. I said I had one in my pocket but he didn't make me put it on. Looking around the club, I didn't see too many patrons wearing them and even fewer dancers. Again, don't complain. You are assuming the risk in going to these places. I know I want to see the dancers' faces. In terms of spraying shit down and keeping up on sanitizing high contact surfaces, that was non-existent.

The other not so obvious reason I've been hesitant to hit the clubs is the rise of gun violence in the city of Providence. Almost every day there is a shooting in the city and the mayor and the city seem to be doing nothing about it. It's getting bad. So, if you are a pussy like me, consider only coming during daylight hours. Fantasies has not been immune to the gun violence, as a couple of months the place was shut down for a couple of days because a gunshot was heard fired in the men's room and the shooter fled. It was odd that there were no injuries, no victims, no blood, just a spent shell in the restroom.
