Slow weekend, little interaction, great conversation with dancer

Went in late night on a Saturday. Outside looks run down, inside is the opposite. Similar to another reviewer, I also felt that the staff (minus the waitresses and few bartenders I interacted with) wasn’t the kindest. Once you enter there’s a full bar to your right and three circular stages- two poles on each end with surrounding seats, and a ring/hoop in the middle with a closed off section surrounding it. The outside is lined with bottle service booths. One of the first things you’ll notice is how tall the poles are- at least 15 feet. The club itself is very clean and more upscale. Unlike the other clubs in Hawaii this one seems to be more focused on bottle service than anything. It definitely seems like it’s designed to cater more toward tourists and celebs. Almost all of the booths were occupied, even though it was one of the slower days of the year according to the dancer and waitresses I talked to. I will say, bottle service and champagne room customers get preference by most of the dancers based on what I saw. I mention this because I did not experience this at any of the other clubs on the island that have bottle service and/or private rooms. The music was fairly loud but the tall ceiling helped spread out the sound- I could easily hear and talk to the dancers, waitresses and fellow customers. DJ was pretty chill; he would call dancers on standby, something I haven’t seen until going to this club. Lighting was also great, definitely accentuated the classy vibe of the place. As for the dancers, it depends. In terms of dancing, phenomenal job, 10/10 for all of them. By far the most talented dancers I’ve seen in Hawaii. Each dancer did a six song set, switching stages after three songs. There was one dancer in particular (Asian, 6’2-6’3 with heels, few tattoos) who had the customers making it rain, even on such a slow day. It was like the first Jennifer Lopez scene in Hustlers. When it comes to interaction, it’s a different story. I saw 10-15 dancers on the main floor (excluding those in the champagne room). In the span of the 2 hours I was there only one dancer approached me. This is despite being young, well dressed, grooming on point, physically fit and somewhat tall (6 flat), making eye contact, smiling occasionally, and sitting in different areas. This doesn’t seem to be one of those places where customers have to approach the dancers, as I saw many of them approach guys, usually those in groups, both regular and bottle service. Maybe it’s because of how slow it was; I’ll definitely come again on a busier day to see what it’s like. Most of the dancers I saw there were white, the one previously mentioned full Asian, one AA, one Latina, and a few mixed. Another noticeable thing was the height of the dancers- most of them were well above 6’0 with heels, which I like personally. To answer the last question about dancers from the tuscl guidelines, no they did not seem happy to see me. Dancing on stage while I tipped, yes. On the floor, no. The one dancer who did approach me though was very easy going and fun to talk to. It’s a given that most dancers push for drinks and pd’s early on, especially in Hawaii, however this dancer did not. We were just vibing to the point where we both opened up more and the conversation seemed pretty genuine. Eventually she did ask, as that’s her job, to which I agreed and bought two separate rounds, as she was chill af and she’s at work. All the waitresses who stopped by to check on us were very friendly and approachable. A few minutes after buying the second round, one of the staff members (maybe a waiter?) gestured to the same dancer I was talking to (whom I had bought drinks for) to come to him. After they talked she told me she had to go. I was thrown off initially but then realized it’s probably bc bottle service customers come first. I think she went to the bar and then the bottle service booths after that. I’d love to mention her dancer name so that more customers can tip her. She’s a real one. PM me for that or any other questions, if that is allowed. If it isn’t allowed, please let me know. Cover charge was $10 from what I remember, and includes $5 off your first drink. First drink was $4 and second drink was $8. Also, there’s a $30 minimum if you’re paying with card. As for pd, I don’t know the price because I didn’t get one, but I heard a few dancers tell customers it was $50 for two (two dance minimum). Initially I did not want to return, given the aforementioned. But I’ll give the benefit of the doubt to how slow it was and will come back again on the weekend. Plus, I’d love to vibe again with the dancer I mentioned earlier, definitely worth buying drinks for.
