An Afternoon Visit to Kitten's
Earlier today I ventured into Kitten’s, and had a nice time.
First the club details. During the day, there is plenty of parking. At nights (and especially on Th, Fri, Sat) the parking lot can get very full. It was a rare sunny day today, so immediately upon entering the club you notice how dark it is inside and how much time you’ll need for your eyes to adjust. It’s a pain. This is not a problem at night, but I prefer to go during the day because of a mellower vibe and it’s been my experience that the day shift ladies can be more accommodating if you want a more intimate encounter. My sample size is small, but this is generally the case. After you pay your $10 for entry and $6 for soda, you walk a few feet and the stage area is off to the left. There are two stages, surrounded by seating and small tables. Today it was a little slow, so there was only one stage in use.
Kitten’s has a bit of a reputation for dancers pouncing on you immediately as you enter the club. I had literally just got my soda and I found this to be the case. I politely declined the initial hellos and took a few sips off my drink. All WA clubs are no alcohol, but there’s a bar next door. Most of the clubs in the area also have nearby bars if that’s what makes you happy.
