Fun Afternoon at Hanks
Henry the VIII Lounge is located in Inkster on Middlebelt Road one mile north of US-12. They have a fenced-in parking lot with no valet or fee.
The building's exterior and interior are both ran down. Smoking is allowed throughout the bar. I've never felt unsafe here during day shift. Clientele ranges from vagrants to businessmen. Occasionally I've seen customers talking to themselves. Perhaps they are venting about the pothole-filled parking lot or terrible bathroom. Dancer talent level requires tempered customer expectations to avoid disappointment.
I arrived mid-afternoon, the parking lot was 25% full. They had eleven dancers (4 to 7 appearance rating) with sparse customers. My waitress was friendly and wasn't pushy about me purchasing additional drinks. Things felt relaxed. One dancer on each of the three stages per four-song set. The DJ played music from various genres at a rational level. Onstage performances were okay. Dancer finale/showcase reviews occurred twice amid my stay. Most of the lineup approached me. Below is what I remember about today's roster.
