Some clubs overcharge for dancer drinks and give the dancer a kickback - in clubs where dancers are very-pushy about drinks could be they have this system in place; especially if they down their drink fast then ask you to buy them another one - and I wouldn't doubt that clubs w/ this system the dancer-drinks may not be anything more than flavored/colored water w/ no alcohol so it's 100%-profit for the club. w.r.t. private rooms - you should do your homework first - i.e. make sure upfront that you are getting what you want/expect (I don't think Manhattan is known for extras but IDK) - also I would think it being Manhattan that $400/$500 would only be for the room and you'd have to kick in several-hundred-more for the girl if not more.
