A Night at Scarlett's

I stopped in at Scarlett's on a recent trip to Miami. We got there around 8ish and stayed until just after midnight. It was pretty quiet when we got there, but by midnight the place was absolutely hopping. There were two separate bar areas open that night and the club a main stage with a few smaller single-pole stages set up around the main floor area. Cover was $10 to get in at the time we arrived, not sure if it goes up later in the night.

Being in the Miami area has the benefit of course of a ton of sexy women, with most performing fully nude during their time on stage. There's a tall Latina woman there with super curly hair who probably has one of the nicest racks you'll ever see. Tried to get a dance with her, but she was clung to another customer the whole night when she wasn't dancing. Most of the women were Latina or white, some Eastern European looking women, and small handful of black women as well. Lap dances seem to vary in price, not sure if its based on the girl or the time at night. I got two dances from one slim Latina chick for $50 and another girl it was $70 for two.

I parked myself at the bar for most of the night. Drinks were insanely watered down, which shouldn't have surprised me as much as it did. The vibe at Scarlett's seems to be that the dancers will mostly interact with you only when you are up near the stage. Even though there must have been nearly 80 dancers when they did their hourly parade around the club to show what the girls all look like, there never seemed to be as much as half that many actually around the club at any one time, which I thought was odd. I'm used to the dancers doing the rounds looking to connect with guys to sell some dances, but the women seemed to be avoiding the bar area altogether. Another weird thing was when we asked if we could sit in the area near the stage we were told we could, but no more than 15 minutes sitting there one of the employees came over and said we would need to pay $200 to stay sitting there for much longer. Not sure if there was miscommunication when they told us to sit there or they were just trying to get us to buy a table, but no biggie.
