There’s only one reason this club is as popular as it is

Whoo…where do I start with this. I hadn’t been here in many years and I had some time so I decided to give it a try. It was a Tuesday night around 10 PM. After a $5 cover, I walked in to a pathetically empty club. No girl on stage and maybe two or three customers around the bar. There were two dancers in their early 20’s (one white, the other Latin, both thicc) at the corner of the bar more interested in their phones and each other than the customers, a tall skinny white girl in her early 20’s chatting away with a regular and two much older Latinas whose better years were behind them. I was not impressed by any of them, truth be told. A dude who I assumed was the manager was walking around trying,unsuccessfully, to get some of the girls onstage.

The club is decent sized. A large square bar is in the front of the house that transitions to high tops on the floor before stepping down to carpet with the usual strip club low tables and chairs around a large T-shaped stage. There are screens of silhouetted dancers on either side of the stage though they do nothing to lighten up the place. It’s pretty dark in there, even for a strip club. Between the lighting and the distance of the bar from the stage, it’s hard to see the stage from the bar so if you’re someone who likes to watch the stage while you have a drink, you’re out of luck. This place is also like in a walkout basement of a small strip mall so the ceiling is low and weirdly claustrophobic, at least by the bar.

I did end up getting a dance from the better of the older Latinas for the hell of it. It was $20 plus another $10 to the house just to go back there. It was really run down and shitty back there with basically no light. It’s almost pitch black back there. The dance was pretty bad and the upsell started immediately. The implication was that extra could be had in a VIP room but I was definitely not interested so i didn’t even get into costs. All in all, a really poor experience. I don’t think I’ll be back.
